About City Roam

City Roam is a relaxed open world driving game. You get a car and a whole city of streets, sidewalks, parks and buildings to explore, with other cars, bikes and pedestrians sharing the roads. Drive wherever you like, or take on courier runs for points.

The GameHub version is a free Android download. It has on screen steering, gas, brake and reverse, a speedometer, a mini map and an arrow to the next marker. There is no clock, a day and night setting, a saved best score and a leaderboard.

How to play

Press and hold the Gas pedal to move off. Use the left and right steering pill to turn the wheels.
Follow the arrow or the mini map to the cyan marker to pick up your package.
Then drive to the gold marker to deliver it. Longer trips pay more, and a new run starts right away.
Use the Brake pedal to slow down and the R button to reverse when you are stuck or need to back out.
Keep to the roads, avoid buildings and take care near pedestrians. Knocking someone down costs you 25 points.

Pro tips

Slow down before corners. Steering turns less sharply at high speed, so a late turn at full speed will run wide.
Stay on the road. Grass slows the car heavily and slows its top speed.
Watch the distance on the goal panel, since longer legs pay more points for each delivery.
Be gentle near sidewalks. Hitting pedestrians takes 25 points off your score.
If you get wedged against a building, ease off the gas and use the R button to back out.

What do you do in City Roam?

You drive a car around a city. You can simply cruise and explore, or follow the courier missions: drive to the cyan marker to pick up a package, then to the gold marker to deliver it and earn points.

How do the controls work?

Use the steering pill on the left to turn, and the Gas, Brake and R pedals on the right. R reverses the car. A speedometer shows your speed and a mini map shows the city and your next marker.

Is there a time limit?

No. The courier runs have no clock, so you can drive at your own pace. Your score depends on the deliveries you complete, and points are lost only if you knock down a pedestrian.

Can I play City Roam at night?

Yes. City Roam has a day and night setting. By default it follows your phone's clock, and one button lets you switch between following the clock, always day, or always night.
