About Carrom

Carrom is a tabletop game where two players flick a striker to knock coins into the four corner pockets. Each side owns nine coins of one colour, and the red queen in the middle is worth bonus points if you cover it.

In GameHub you play on a physics-based board against the computer at three levels, or take turns with a friend on the same phone. Matches run over several boards until someone reaches 25 points, and you get a few hints if you are stuck.

How to play

Choose to play the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, or switch to two players. White plays from the bottom and Black from the top.
Slide the striker along your baseline to the spot you like.
Drag on the board to aim. The farther you drag, the harder the shot. Let go to flick the striker.
Pocket your own colour of coin to keep your turn. If you pocket the queen, you must pocket one of your own coins right after to cover it.
Clear all your coins to win the board. Points come from the rival coins left, plus 3 for the queen. First to 25 points wins the match.

Pro tips

Aim for the coins that sit close to a pocket first. An easy pot keeps your turn going.
Do not rush the queen. Take it only when you have a coin lined up to cover it right away.
Avoid dropping the striker into a pocket. It is a foul, and your pocketed coins can be sent back.
Use gentle power when coins are clustered, so you do not scatter them into your rival's favour.
Save your hints for tricky boards instead of using them on the first shot.

How do you win a carrom match in GameHub?

Win boards by pocketing all your coins. A board scores the rival coins left on the table plus 3 for a covered queen. The first player to reach 25 points wins the match.

What happens if I pocket the striker?

That is a foul. Coins pocketed on that shot go back to the board, and you may have to return one of your own pocketed coins or owe one to the board.

Can I play carrom with a friend on one phone?

Are there hints in carrom?
