Audio Merger
Join several audio files into one. Add your files, put them in the order you want, choose how much silence goes between them, listen to the result and download a single audio file. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

How to use Audio Merger
- Choose two or more audio files, such as MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG.
- Use the arrows to put the files in order, and remove any you do not want.
- Set the silence between files if you want a pause, then press Play merged audio to check.
- Press Download merged audio. The result is one WAV file.
What merging does
The tool decodes every file into raw audio, places the clips end to end in the order shown, and writes them out as one file. If you add a pause, it inserts that much silence between each pair of clips.
Because the audio is decoded and written again as WAV, the joined result has no gaps or clicks at the joins beyond what is in the files themselves.
Tips
- Check the order before you download. The numbers show the play order.
- Use a short pause of half a second to one second between songs or recordings.
- Use zero pause for audiobook chapters or a recording that was split by mistake.
- Play the merged audio first to listen for volume differences between files.
- Keep your originals. The merged file is a new copy.
Volume and quality
The tool does not change the volume of your clips, so files recorded at different levels will sound louder or quieter in turn. If that matters, adjust the levels of the originals first. The result is 16-bit stereo at 44.1 kHz.
Limits
This tool joins files one after another. It does not mix them to play at the same time, crossfade them, or save MP3 files. Some formats may not open in every browser.
Why use this audio merger tool
- Any order you like. Reorder files with the arrow buttons and remove ones you added by mistake.
- Optional pauses. Leave no gap for a seamless join, or add up to five seconds of silence between files.
- Different formats together. Join MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG files in one go. They are converted to match.
- Private and free. Files are joined in your browser and never uploaded. There is no watermark and no sign-up.
Frequently asked questions
How do I merge MP3 files online?
Add your MP3 files, put them in the right order with the arrows, and press Download merged audio. The files are joined one after another into a single file, which is saved as WAV.
Can I join files of different formats?
Yes. Your browser decodes each file, and the tool joins them into one stereo file at 44.1 kHz. Mono files are played in both ears.
Why is the merged file a WAV and not an MP3?
WAV keeps the sound exactly as decoded and plays almost everywhere. It makes bigger files than MP3. If you need an MP3, convert the WAV afterwards with an audio converter.
Is there a limit to how many files I can merge?
There is no fixed number, but each file must be under 150 megabytes and the merged audio has to fit in your browser's memory. For very long recordings, merge in smaller groups.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The files are read and joined on your device, and nothing is sent to a server.
