How to use Photo Collage Maker

1. Press Choose photos and select two to twelve pictures.
2. Pick a layout such as Grid, Big photo left or Single row, and a shape such as Square, Portrait or Story.
3. Adjust the space between photos, the outer border, rounded corners and background colour. Use the arrow buttons to change the order.
4. Choose the size and format, then press Download collage.

Choosing a layout

A grid gives every photo equal weight and suits events and sets of similar pictures. A big photo with smaller ones beside it tells a story, because one image leads and the others support it. A single row or column works well for before and after pictures or a simple strip.

The shape matters too. Square suits most social feeds, portrait fits phone screens and prints, wide suits banners and slides, and story is tall for vertical stories.

Tips for a clean collage

• Use photos with a similar tone or colour so the collage looks balanced.
• Keep gaps small, around 8 to 16, for a modern look. Use zero for a seamless mosaic.
• Choose a background colour that matches your main photo colours, or white for a clean look.
• Put the strongest photo first, since it becomes the big photo in the hero layouts.
• Pick a larger download size if you plan to print the collage.

Output and quality

JPG makes smaller files and suits sharing online. PNG keeps every pixel exactly and makes larger files. The width you choose sets the pixel size, and the height follows the shape. Photos with a lower resolution than the output size will look softer when enlarged.

Limits

This tool places photos automatically in set layouts. It does not let you drag photos freely, add text or stickers, or move the crop inside a photo. It supports JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF pictures, and uses the first frame of a GIF. Photos are processed in your browser, so very large photos can be slow on older phones.
