Python Online Compiler

A free online Python compiler and editor. Type Python 3 code, press Run and see the output — it runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly (Pyodide), so nothing is uploaded. The first run downloads the Python runtime, then later runs are faster.

Runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

How to use Python Online Compiler

  1. Type or paste your Python 3 code in the editor.
  2. Press Run (or Ctrl+Enter).
  3. Read the output in the panel on the right; errors show there too.
  4. Use Format to tidy the code, or Reset to start over.

How Python runs in the browser

This compiler uses Pyodide, which is the real CPython interpreter compiled to WebAssembly. When you press Run, the code executes inside a sandboxed frame on your device and its output is shown on the right. Nothing is sent to a server, which is why it works without an account and keeps your code private.

The first run downloads the Python runtime (several megabytes), so it takes a few seconds. After that your browser caches it and runs start faster.

What works and what does not

Great for learning and quick tests: variables, loops, functions, classes, comprehensions, and much of the standard library. Things that need a real operating system or network — interactive input(), opening local files, installing arbitrary packages — are limited in the browser. For those, use a desktop Python install.

Why use this python online compiler tool

  • Real Python 3. Runs the actual CPython interpreter compiled to WebAssembly (Pyodide), so the standard library and real Python behaviour work.
  • Runs in your browser. No server and no account. Your code is saved only in this browser and is never uploaded.
  • Instant output. print() output and error tracebacks appear in the Output panel.
  • Free, no limits. No sign-up, no watermark, no execution limits beyond your own device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I run Python online here?

Type your Python 3 code and press Run. It runs in your browser using Pyodide (CPython compiled to WebAssembly), and the output appears on the right. The first run downloads the runtime, which takes a few seconds; after that it is quicker.

Is it really Python 3, and is the standard library available?

Yes. It is CPython 3 via Pyodide, so most of the standard library works. Some packages that need the network or the operating system are limited because it runs in a browser sandbox.

Can I use input() or read files?

Interactive input() and local file access are limited in the browser sandbox. This tool is best for self-contained scripts: calculations, loops, functions, string and data work.

Is my code uploaded?

No. Everything runs on your device and your code is saved only in this browser.
