Dialogue
RahulPriya, there's something I've wanted to tell you for a while.
PriyaOkay, I'm listening.
RahulI really like you, more than just a friend.
PriyaI feel the same way, Rahul. I was hoping you'd say something.
RahulWould you like to be in a relationship with me?
PriyaYes, I would love that.
RahulI have to admit, I still get butterflies whenever I see you.
PriyaMe too. I felt this chemistry between us from our very first date.
RahulI know it's still early, but I feel like you could be my soulmate.
PriyaThat's a big thing to say, but I trust you and I feel the same way.
Common mistakes
- Saying "I am loving you" instead of "I love you" (avoid continuous tense with the verb "love").
- Saying "She is my relationship" instead of "She is my girlfriend" or "We are in a relationship."
- Saying "I want to propose you" instead of "I want to propose to you" (the verb "propose" needs "to" before a person).
- Saying "I am feeling butterflies" instead of "I get butterflies" or "I have butterflies" ("get/have butterflies" is the natural expression).
- Saying "I trust on you" instead of "I trust you" (the verb "trust" does not take "on" before a person).
- Saying "She is my soulmate girl" instead of "She is my soulmate" ("soulmate" already means a person, adding "girl" is redundant).
